Cup and Bowl Sale
       Reminder - group bisque is Friday, 9/23 - Luke and Kevin will coordinate
                          group glaze is Thursd. 9/29 - Travis and Garrett and in charge

                         Emily H. is dropping off fliers with Travis who will disperse
                         Kristin M. will stuff faculty mailboxes at the art office and we will break into pairs to                       plaster the individual department mailboxes
 
Wood Firing!
       Change of plans - wood kiln loading will be November 14-16th
                                    wood firing November 17-19th

Rick Nickel workshop
        Coming up fast and furious!
         Derek D. has draft of fliers - we edited during the meeting- he will have 30 printed out - Travis will    disperse
        Chuck J. is reserving Wiley lecture hall for Rick' talk

Loveland Display Case
       -Good news is that we have some work in there, but it needs some serious TLC.
       -Luke and Garrett volunteered to spend some quality time organizing
       -We are going to need volunteers throughout the school year to install work
       -Linda C.'s large sculpture project will be installed in a couple of weeks and then we can do a wood fire display in November - maybe a visiting artist display of Kristin and Rick's bisque ware?

Clay Club Meeting Minutes 9/7

            Cup and Bowl Sale

                        Firing  10/5 – 10/7 – sign up for shifts

                        There will be shop liner glazes, flashing slips, wadding provided

            Rick Nickel – 10/3 and 4^th

            Bates Show

                        Install show on Saturday 9/10, meeting around 12:30pm

                        Mark Arnold will print out labels

                        Gratia and Travis will take care of posters

                        Garrett will make price list and show statement

                        Clay Club will receive 25% of all sales

                        Opening is Wednesday 9/14, 7pm – a refreshment

            Loveland Hall Display Case

                        We would like to start utilizing the hallway display cases in the first                            floor of Loveland.

Volunteers are needed to provide ceramic work and install the work in Loveland – people should drop off work this Saturday during the Bates Gallery set up.

Emily H. and Kristen M. are going on a fact finding mission to start organizing a club trip to SOFA Chicago. (early Nov.)

           

            NCECA

Kristen (and Gratia?) are going to work on a SGA proposal for NCECA funding

                        Things to think about:  new EUP poster, NCECA booth in Seattle.
